Volunteer Coordinator & Sports Admin Assisitant
The Kennett Area YMCA is in search of a dynamic person to help recruit and develop our branch volunteers and
be responsible for
setting up seasonal sports schedules
, supply ordering and other organizational duties. Candidate must have strong organizational skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
This position will work approximaely 20 hours per week.
Requirements:
18 years of age or older
Some college preferred
Work experience with non-profit and/or volunteers a plus
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Excellent organizational and communications skills and ability to relate well with staff, members and the community
Strong organization, communication and computer skills including Microsoft Excel
Sports League set up experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
Manage a database of volunteers
Coordinate the volunteer needs of each department
Advertise and promote all volunteer opportunities
Collect and process volunteer paperwork & clearances
Communicate effectively with our volunteer base
Attend various YMCA events
Manage volunteer feedback
Sports league set up and management
