School Age Child Care-Site Director

The Kennett Area YMCA is looking for experienced Child Care candidates to work in our School Age Child Care department. The Site Director is responisible for running the before and after care program at the Greenwood Elementary School in Kennett Square.
The Site Director position is part-time and the shifts are Mon-Fri, 7-9am and 3-6pm, with opportunities for assisting at Unionville Elementary schools in the middle of the day.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Ed, Elem Ed or Human Services field
Associates degree with a minimum of 2 years experience.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement an educational program that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of both the individual and the group
Develop & implement monthly lesson plans
Maintain record keeping for the YCare school site
Establish and maintain positive communications with parents and school staff
Interact with the children to encourage development and involvement in activities
Responsible for supervision of assistant teachers
Obtain a Child Abuse and Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, CPR, First Aid, yearly health assessment and any other training necessary to comply with DHS regulations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
