Assistant School Age Teacher, 2015-2016
Join our fabulous team of educators in our School Age Childcare program. Part time positions available for before and after care at the Unionville/Chadds Ford and Kennett Elementary schools.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years old with a HS Diploma
Must be avialable M-F, 7-9am and/or 3-6pm
Must be within commutable distance to Unionville & Kennett Elementary schools
Two years of experience working with groups of school age children and/or college credits
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Childcare Site Director with planning and implementing all childcare activities
Oversee the safety and whereabouts of the children in the group at all times, providing a safe, interactive program.
Interacting with the children to encourage development and involvement in activities.
Mentoring children around the YMCA Core Values.
Obtain a Child Abuse and Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, CPR, First Aid, yearly health assessment and any other training necessary to comply with DHS regulations.
