Assistant Swim Coach

Requirements:
At least 16 years of age (Jr. Assistant Coach); At least 18 years of age (Assistant Coach)
Experience coaching swimmers of all ages
Current CPR certifications
Proven experience working with groups of children
Ability to relate to children, parents, off site personnel and fellow staff in a mature and sensitive way, consistent with the YMCA philosophy
Responsibilities:
Assist the head coach in delivering a high quality, safe, competitive swim program
Assist in recruitment and retention of program participants
Lead specialty clinics and practices
Assist head coach in organizing and managing swimmers at meets.
Available to work weekdays starting at 3:30PM and weekends. Beginning mid-September available for 5-12 hours per week including Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Uphold all rules and policies of the YMCA
Insure the safety and well being of all participants in the group
Maintain positive relationships with all participants and lead with enthusiasm

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
