Successful candidate must have at least 3 years of data analytics experience, preferably in a K-12 school environment. Must have at least 2 years of undergraduate studies in data management or a 4 year degree in Business, Information Management or a related field. Must have the ability to intuitively navigate end-user applications to locate and understand the underlying data and data relationships to provide end user assistance and compile data reports/files, including those mandated by Pennsylvania (PIMS). Must have experience & advanced proficiency in data management tools, including MS Access, MS Excel, SQL Server Management (Studio), and COGNOS reporting. Must have the critical analysis skills necessary to work independently, problem solve, & translate quantitative findings into practical insights. Must have the ability to manage and maintain several data repositories, with the ability to extract and import common data elements stemming from a non-SQL database. Must be motivated & driven with the ability to communicate, collaborate and effectively work with the Supervisor of Information Systems, administrators, teachers and students as it relates to the responsibilities of the position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
