LTC Nurse (RN or LPN/LVN)
Successful candidates will possess good organization, observation, documentation, hands-on care, and communication skills as well as a strong desire to work with elderly residents in a team-oriented facility.
Familiarity with using electronic medical records is preferred.
Carries out MD orders for medications.
Notes condition changes in residents and reports to nursing supervisor and MD as appropriate.
Assists with the care needs of residents including bathing, dressing, toileting, and transferring.
Checks physician orders for accuracy.
Works with the interdisciplinary staff to ensure that residents are functioning at their optimal level of independence.
Directs nursing assistant staff.
Promotes and restores residents' quality of life by providing nursing care as determined by the needs of the residents and their individual plans of care.
RequirementsMust have current licensure by the state they will be working in as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
