In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology (IT) organization, manage and mentor IT leaders and staff, and partner with other business leaders to understand their current and future IT needs and design and implement technology solutions.
You will combine your industry experience and knowledge of industry trends to advise and develop Chatham's business IT strategy, including accountability for the overall IT budget.
This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems, the delivery of top-notch technical support, and the protection of sensitive data and assets.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute Chatham's IT strategy aligned with company goals.
Oversee planning and management of the IT budget.
Oversee the ongoing operation, maintenance, and upgrades of Chatham's IT infrastructure across multiple office locations, data centers, and the cloud.
Manage daily operations of the team, consistent with organizational and team goals.
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts.
Oversee the development and implementation of our cybersecurity program and disaster recovery plans.
Lead and mentor a diverse and talented team of IT and Security professionals.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and applicable industry regulations.
Oversee IT projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets.
Partner with business leaders and senior management to align IT initiatives with business goals.
Develop, track, and report on the key performance indicators and service level objectives.
Contributors to your success:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar or equivalent role.
Extensive team management experience with ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure design, migration, and operations (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Data center, multi-site, and multi-geographical experience.
Demonstrated understanding of infrastructure design and operational best practices, current and emerging industry security standards, risk management, disaster recovery planning, and program management.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and negotiate with technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent critical/structured analysis, strategic planning, and project execution skills Team player with a passion for building relationships and providing exceptional service.
