Summary:
Supervise, coordinate, and participate in the work of staff engaged in the sanitation of all plant and Facilities.
Manage the Master Cleaning Schedule and ensure all SSOPs are followed in compliance to food safety/hygienic manufacturing practices.
Provide leadership and help develop the sanitation team.
Help develop training programs for the sanitation team and in compliance with the company best practices.
Keep detailed records of all sanitation related activities and issues.
To provide coaching and disciplinary action when needed.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise the sanitation department and ensure that all cleaning systems and plant sanitation programs are sufficient to standards.
Support food safety policies to include allergen control and environmental monitoring program.
Assist in developing sanitation staff job functions and key objectives to be met for all reports in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Leadership.
Help coordinate appropriate chemical and safety training.
Ensure all scheduled sanitation activities for processing equipment is executed in accordance to the SSOPs and efficiently.
Assist in developing, maintaining, and monitoring SSOPs and Master Sanitation Schedule.
Lead team in troubleshooting efforts.
Participate in food safety and regulatory audits.
Ensure proper concentration levels are being met for effective cleaning.
Inventory Management and assist in overseeing the purchasing of sanitation supplies and operating within budget.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and tools are maintained for peak performance and effective cleaning.
Submit a daily log of any issues that arose throughout the shift.
Assist with scheduling to provide adequate coverage for the daily sanitation program.
Examine all equipment and ensure everything is to standard before handing over to production.
QualificationsPREFERRED SKILLSComputer literacy including Microsoft Office applications Excellent verbal and written skills, display strong organizational skills Bilingual in English and Spanish Must be able to work independently and effectively with peers.
Recommended Skills Auditing Communication Computer Literacy Coordinating English Food Safety Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
