Summary:
A Library Paraprofessional assist students, librarian, and faculty in school environment.
Qualifications:
To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
The qualifications listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill, and/or ability necessary.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred Advanced Skills with Word, Excel, e-mail, Google cloud-based technology Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize work Reliability to handle confidential information Superior organizational skills; ability to handle frequent interruptions Effective communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of team Ability to supervise students using good judgment and school guidelines Ability to assess a situation and problem solve Maintain pleasant, positive child/client-centered attitude Maintain a secure environment Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record check requirements Candidate must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment.
