At JAM Christian Daycare we are committed to partnering with parents to develop the whole child through cognitive, language, motor, social emotional, and spiritual aspects.
Bilingual is a PLUS!
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate(GED) and 30 hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education or a related human services field or a high school diploma or GED including 600 or more hours of secondary training described in 3270.
31c (relating to age and training) of Title 55 PA Public welfare code or a high school diploma or a GED, 15 hours from and accredited college or university in early childhood education or the human services field and 1 year experience with children or a high school diploma or GED and completion of a post-secondary curriculum described in 3270.
31c or a high school diploma or a GED and 2 years experience with children.
Two references on file attesting to character and child caring ability Minimum of CDA preferred or willingness to obtain CDA, work towards Associate's or Bachelor's in ECE, within probationary period after hiring process.
Two references on file attesting to character and child caring ability Demonstrate education or training in child care and practical experience Exhibit enthusiasm and energy towards children, staff and parents Attend continuing education seminars/workshops Capable of lifting small children (30-50 pounds) and being able to safeguard them.

State Police FBI Clearance Child Abuse Clearance NSOR Verification Responsibilities Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities utilizing PA State Standards and High Scope Curriculum Be familiar with and follow all center policies and PA state regulations.
Be committed to providing developing the whole child Submitting to the director a monthly plan of intended activities Observing and evaluating each child's progress Working cooperatively with staff members and parents Being available for parent conferences when necessary Maintaining room cleanliness and safety Attend regular staff meetings Job Type:
